Poly not wool :(

I fell for this rug and was ready to buy until I went back and checked the material. It's polyester not wool or ofelin and from all I know is that is poly is a cheap way to make a good looking rug, but they do not hold up in high traffic (yes I have bought some and all were a short term floor covering). So I'm wary of making another costly mistake. So disappointed that this isn't a better material. I'm willing to pay for something better quality so that it will last.
