I have had these for about 8 years... they are particle board but that is the only negative... so make sure to use a coaster. These are a perfect height for use as a nightstand (as I use them) and have room for a lamp and a magazine on the top.. wish i had more of these because there are so many places in my house they would go perfectly. And the price is amazing!! Easy to assemble.
